Last Friday at Lexis Manly our wonderful students enjoyed our fun, monthly Sausage Sizzle!
Sizzling up some fun at Lexis Manly! From backyard barbeques to beachside picnics, Aussies love nothing more than firing up the barbie and cooking up a storm. So to help give our students the full Australian experience, we held a classic Aussie Sausage Sizzle last Friday. Everyone had a lovely afternoon getting to know new friends & enjoying each others company.
All classes gathered for the event on our student lounge balcony. We worked up some magic over the barbie, serving up an Aussie classic – a sausage sizzle or ‘snag.’ Barbequing in Australia is about more than just the food. It’s a chance to gather with friends and family, and enjoy some quality time together. Whether it’s a casual weekend gathering or a big holiday celebration, barbequing is all about coming together and having fun.
As we reminisce on this wonderful event, our students are left with cherished memories and a renewed sense of connection. It was a day of laughter, delicious food, and the warmth of community, reminding us of the importance of our coming together to embrace new experiences together.
