NRL Brisbane Broncos vs Redcliffe Dolphins🐴🐬
On Friday night, a group of Lexis students headed out for an unforgettable experience at the Brisbane Broncos vs Redcliffe Dolphins game. We kicked things off on Caxton Street, soaking up the pre-game energy with live music, good vibes, and plenty of excitement building in the air. As we made our way to the stadium, you could feel the anticipation growing, and the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere completely shifted—loud, electric, and full of passionate fans. The energy was contagious as we cheered along, fully immersed in the game. To top it all off, the Brisbane Broncos secured the win, making it an even more exciting and memorable night for everyone involved!
We kicked off the night at the Lord Alfred for a fun pre-show, where we watched the Warriors vs Tigers game to warm us up and go over the rules. It was the perfect introduction for many students experiencing their first NRL game, helping everyone understand the game while building excitement for the night ahead. The atmosphere was relaxed and social, giving students a chance to chat, learn, and get into the rugby spirit before heading out.
Before heading into the stadium, some students couldn’t resist picking up a bit of Broncos merchandise—flags, hats, and jerseys—to get into the spirit and have something to remember their first NRL game.
Timon (right) is currently here from Switzerland and is one of our youngest students at Lexis Brisbane. He brings so much energy wherever he goes, gets along with everyone, and is incredibly kind — truly the best to have around. Timon is always keen to join every activity, adding such a positive and fun vibe to the group.
This was his second Rugby League match, and it was great to see him confidently explaining the rules he learned from his first game at Suncorp Stadium to his friends. He even brought along his flags from last time, sharing the unforgettable experience with everyone and helping make the night even more special.
