Fun Activities at Lexis Sydney – Manly: Talent Show, Soccer Tournament, Pub Crawl & A Picnic for International Women’s Day!
Recently at Lexis Sydney Manly, our activities have been all about connection, creativity, and enjoying the vibrant Manly lifestyle. We believe that learning continues far beyond the classroom, and each activity gives students the opportunity to practice English naturally while building friendships and creating unforgettable memories.
From cheering on classmates during our exciting Talent Show to the friendly competition of our Soccer Tournament, students had plenty of chances to come together, share their talents, and support one another. Our lively Pub Crawl gave students the opportunity to explore Manly’s local nightlife while socialising with new friends. We also celebrated International Women’s Day with a relaxing picnic, bringing everyone together to enjoy good food, and celebrate the women within our community. It’s been a wonderful mix of fun, connection, and memorable experiences at Lexis Sydney Manly!
Soccer Tournament:
Our Soccer Tournament brought students together for a fun and energetic day on the field. The activity was run by our student Carlos, who did a great job coordinating the teams, matches and bringing awesome energy to the game. It was wonderful to see students all playing together, cheering each other on, and enjoying some friendly competition.
Talent Show:
Our Talent Show at Lexis Sydney Manly was a fantastic celebration of student talent and creativity. Congratulations to our Top 3 Winners! First prize went to Luna and Rafa, who performed a beautiful duet playing the ukulele and singing the song Riptide. Second prize was awarded to Karin, who won a trip to Jervis Bay with her performance of 2002, singing and playing the guitar. Third prize went to Rafaela, who amazed the audience with an incredible solo dance performance and won a Winery trip to the Hunter Valley. Pub Crawl Night Out:
Students also recently joined our lively Pub Crawl around Manly, giving everyone the chance to explore some of the local pubs while socialising with classmates and making new friends. It was a relaxed and fun evening where students could experience a bit of Manly’s nightlife and enjoy time together outside the classroom.
Picnic for International Women’s Day:
To celebrate International Women’s Day on Sunday, we organised a lovely picnic for Friday afternoon, where students gathered to enjoy good food, sunshine, and great company. It was a special moment to recognise and appreciate the incredible women in our community while spending time together in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
