Fun Activities at Lexis Sydney Manly: Yoga Lesson,
Tote Bag Decorating, ‘Beer’ Pong Competition & BBQ!
At Lexis Sydney Manly, our students enjoy much more than just English classes. Recently, we’ve hosted a range of fun and social activities, including a relaxing Yoga Lesson, creative Tote Bag Decorating, and a lively ‘Beer’ Pong Competition & BBQ. These events give students the chance to unwind, express themselves, and connect with classmates from all over the world in a relaxed and friendly environment.
With so many opportunities to get involved both on and off campus, students can enjoy a great balance of relaxation, creativity, and social connection. These recent activities highlight just that, bringing everyone together through shared experiences, plenty of laughs, and good food. From stretching out in yoga to getting competitive over games and enjoying a BBQ, our students continue to make the most of their time in Manly.

Tote Bag Decorating:
Creativity was in full swing during our Tote Bag Decorating session! Students had the chance to design and personalise their own reusable bags, using fabric paints, and a bit of imagination. It was a fun, hands-on way to express individual style while chatting, laughing, and sharing ideas with new friends. Whether it was a bold design or a simple message, each bag showed the creative talents of our students – and made for a fun, personalised souvenir to take home!
Yoga Lesson:
We also recently held a relaxing Yoga Lesson, giving students the chance to slow down, stretch, and reset after a busy week of study. Set in a calm space, the session focused on gentle movement, breathing, and mindfulness.
The class was suitable for all levels, whether students were trying yoga for the first time or already had experience. It was a great way to look after both body and mind, reduce stress, and enjoy some peaceful time with classmates in a supportive environment.
‘Beer’ Pong Competition & Pizza:
Last week, we hosted a fun-filled ‘Beer’ Pong Competition & Pizza hangout, and it was a great success! There was plenty of friendly competition, lots of laughs, and some seriously impressive pong skills on display. Everyone enjoyed delicious slices of pizza while cheering each other on, making it a relaxed and social afternoon all around 🍕🍻
End of Week BBQ:
To wrap up this week, we finished with a classic BBQ – the perfect way to bring everyone together. Students enjoyed good food, relaxed conversations, and plenty of laughs as they socialised outside the classroom.
