We are excited to welcome our new students from Canada, France, Japan, Poland, Spain, Switzerland and Türkiye!
Our 11 new students from 7 different countries wasted no time in forming friendships and discovering the Northern Beaches – but let’s start in the beginning of the day when they were all strangers, nervous to start their first day at Lexis Manly. The small group gathered in the student lounge, took on their placement test and learned about our campus and each other in a fun orientation. After everyone was assigned to a class and received their individual study plan for their time with us, they went on the weekly walk and talk tour.
Our teacher Mick is one of the greatest story tellers and a true Aussie, who would be better to take the new students on a walk and talk around Manly to discover what it has to offer.
Out of all the shops, beaches and cafes, one location particularly impressed them: Shelly beach – a small beach hidden away behind Manly beach. After their first day at Lexis Manly, they decided to return to Shelly beach together and enjoy the sunny afternoon, making the most of the Australian lifestyle, while getting to know each other better. It was amazing to see how all students wasted no time and jumped straight into a beach afternoon, forming friendships and settling in with the Lexis Manly family.
We are excited to see everyone again tomorrow, for the first day of their studies.
Have a great time at Lexis Manly!
