Congratulations to our amazing graduates at Lexis Manly!
Last Friday we celebrated the hard work and dedication of 14 graduates at Lexis Manly. It was a beautiful, sunny morning with Manly Beach as a perfect backdrop for our graduation ceremony. Graduation day isn’t just about receiving a certificate; it’s about acknowledging the wonderful memories and achievements that have shaped each student’s experience. We took a moment to listen to their stories, their hopes for the future, and the cherished moments they held dear during their time at Lexis Manly.
Throughout their academic journey, these students have not only embraced the challenges of education but have also thrived in the rich tapestry of cultural experiences that our Lexis community offers. We are so proud of everyone that graduated today, your achievements and hard work have not gone unnoticed. We know bright futures are waiting for all of them. Well done and we hope you enjoyed your time at Lexis Manly!
Aya was at Lexis Manly for 12 weeks and is graduating from our Pre-Intermediate class. Aya loved to participate in our activities and workshops and truly made the most of her experience during her time at our campus. Not only her new friends will miss her but also her host family who I’m sure will miss her a lot. Her host mother baked some special cupcakes for her graduation day with little graduating hats on each of them – such a sweet gesture that I’m sure Aya will cherish forever. Aya now has 4 weeks left in Sydney. Aya’s partner is going to travel to Sydney and spend the remaining few weeks she has left here. She is excited to do some sightseeing with her partner and really enjoy all that Sydney has to offer. We wish you the best of luck for your future Aya!
Dorota was at Lexis Manly for 34 weeks and was an absolute pleasure to have at our campus. Dorota originally from Poland, is a German teacher who was living in Germany with her family. Dorota and her family wanted to improve their English skills, so they ventured to the other side of the world, Australia, and have now been living in Sydney for the past 10 months. Dorota was a hardworking student and very dedicated to improving her English skills, which her teachers and staff can all attest to! Dorota especially loved our International Food Day event where she would proudly represent her Polish roots with an amazing display of food. Dorota and her family are now going to travel to Japan and then back home to Germany. We wish you all the best Dorota – we will miss you!
Batuhan, Valentina and Marta are all graduating from our Advanced class. Batuhan was here for 26 weeks, Valentina for 16 weeks and then Marta for 2 weeks. They have all improved their English skills so much especially Batuhan who started in our Intermediate class and is now graduating with an Advanced level of English – very impressive! Karen, his teacher, mentioned he had a great sense of humour and was known as the ‘class clown’ always making his classmates laugh. Valentina was a smiling ball of energy who loved to participate in our art activities where she showcased her amazing creative abilities! Valentina also studied our Cambridge Preparation course previously and did an amazing job in her Cambridge exam where she passed all components – well done! Batuhan now plans to stay in Australia and possibly do some further studies, and Valentina and Marta have some awesome travel plans lined up. We wish you guys the best of luck for your futures and a big congratulations!
