Crafting dream catchers: A creative afternoon with our Lexis Manly students!
At Lexis Manly, we’re always looking for fun and creative ways to engage our students, and our recent dream catcher workshop was a huge success! Dream catchers, with their intricate designs and cultural significance, offer a perfect blend of artistry and tradition. Originally crafted by Native American tribes, dream catchers are believed to filter out bad dreams and let only good ones pass through. Whether you’re drawn to their beauty, their meaning, or both, making a dream catcher is a rewarding experience. 
Fostering Creativity:
Art is a universal language that transcends borders, cultures, and background. It is a beautiful medium through which individuals can express their thoughts, emotions and unique perspectives. At Lexis Manly we believe in encouraging creative pursuits and fostering a deep appreciation for the arts among our students. The dream catcher workshop became a melting pot of ideas, perspectives, and techniques, where students had the freedom to explore their imagination and bring their artistic visions to life.
Connecting & Collaborating:
One of the most rewarding aspects of our dream catcher workshop was the opportunity for our students to make new friends and strengthen bonds. Our students exchanged ideas, and painted alongside peers who shared their passion for creativity, leading to newfound friendships and strengthening our Lexis Manly community. As the afternoon progressed, the students found moments to engage in lively conversations which was great practice for their English speaking skills.
Showcasing Talents:
The dream catcher workshop at Lexis Manly was more than just an afternoon of artistic expression, it was a celebration of creativity, connection and the joy of coming together. It showcased the amazing talents and spirit of community that defines our campus. It was heartwarming to witness the amazing talents as well as the laughter, and genuine social interaction during this delightful afternoon. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone for approaching this activity with such enthusiasm – it was truly a memorable experience for all!
