Our students learned the basics of boxing in a fun beach session!
Our teacher Maggie is passionate about boxing and offered a beginner class for our students. Practicing boxing as a sport is a great way to improve physical fitness and a fun way to challenge mind and body. The students gathered by the beach front and were eager to learn the basics of boxing. After a warm up together, Maggie taught all students the fundamentals and first moves – after, all students paired up in teams and had their first try at applying the newly learned. The students had so much fun learning a new skills and did great at soaking up the knowledge!
Active afternoons are always a great chance for our student to balance the hard work in the classroom with a physical challenge, while getting to know new students from other classes.
Everyone had a great afternoon, hidden talents were discovered, new hobbies found and friendships formed!
