Today we are thrilled to welcome new students from the German, French and Italian parts of Switzerland, Belgium, Chile, Brazil and Thailand.
Angela joins us from the German part of Switzerland. Angela wants to work as a nurse around the world and requires a good level of English to do so. In addition to learning English, she is excited to go on adventures around Australia and create lasting memories.
Sibylle also joins us from the German part of Switzerland. Australia and New Zealand have been on Sibylle’s bucket list for a long time. Australia always fascinated her as it is so far from home. Sibylle plans to take lots of surf lessons during her time in Byron. One day, she would like to move to an English-speaking country.
Thierry also joins us from the German part of Switzerland. Thierry is taking a break from work to study English and enjoy summer in Byron Bay. After his studies, Thierry is thinking about going on a road trip around Australia before returning home.
Sabrina also joins us from the German part of Switzerland. Sabrina hasn’t studied English for years, so she wants a refresher. She would like to attain an English-level that would enable her to travel the world independently and understand native English speakers. She chose Australia because of its beauty and warm weather and will travel Australia after completing her studies.
Michel also joins us from the German part of Switzerland. Michel chose Australia because of the natural beauty and the many cool surfing spots. When he returns home, he will commence university and study software engineering.
Damien joins us from the French part of Switzerland. While in Australia, Damien wants to improve his English, make new friends and travel the country. Afterwards, he will travel to Canada to work and continue improving his English.
Justin also joins us from the French part of Switzerland. Justin decided to study in Australia after hearing great things about Australia from his friends. Also, he thought it looked like a beautiful place to be. After Lexis, Justin will travel around Australia and then New Zealand.
Roberto joins us from the Italian part of Switzerland. Roberto wants to improve his English and chose Australia because he loves hot summers. Beyond learning English, Roberto looks forward to sunbathing, swimming and surfing in Byron Bay. Roberto plans to take lots of surf lessons during his time in Byron.
Lola joins us from Brussels, Belgium. She is happy to have escaped the Belgium winter for the Australian summer. Her goal at Lexis is to improve her English in all areas. When she returns home, Lola plans to study communications.
Florencia joins us from Chile. Florencia chose to study in Australia to experience a different culture and because of Australia’s reputation for kind people, beautiful beaches and diverse places to visit. While in Australia, Florencia wants to talk English as much as possible and travel the country.
Maria joins us from Brazil. Maria visited Noosa in 2020 but needed to return home early because of Covid. She is excited to be back in Australia and chose Byron Bay this time for the surf, diving opportunities and many stunning beaches. Her study goals are to improve her grammar and vocabulary.
Supattra joins us from Thailand. Supattra is enthusiastic about learning English and plans to study as much as possible to accelerate her learning. English will be beneficial for her work and meeting people from around the world.
