We are thrilled to welcome 19 new students from Switzerland, Belgium, France, Spain, Japan, Brazil and Chile!

Marco joins us from the German part of Switzerland. Marco is taking a gap year to learn English and experience life in Australia. He chose to study in Byron Bay because it is a beach destination with great weather.

 

Sarah also joins us from the German part of Switzerland. She is passionate about sports and the gym. Sarah was previously a primary school teacher at an international school and hopes to eventually be able to teach in Australia.

 

Laura also joins us from the German part of Switzerland. Laura enjoys camping, spending time with loved ones and being outdoors. It is her first time in Australia and whilst in Byron Bay she would like to learn how to surf alongside her English studies.

 

Yanik also joins us from the German part of Switzerland. Yanik recently completed his carpentry apprenticeship and is now hoping to improve his English skills. After his studies he plans to travel down the East Coast of Australia to Melbourne.

 

Isabella also joins us from the German part of Switzerland. Isabella enjoys swimming and spending time with her nephew. Isabella is in Australia to improve her English and will then continue her travels around the world.

 

Sophie also joins us from Switzerland. Sophie decided to study in Australia because she loves the spirit of the country and nature. After her English studies she’d like to travel around Australia and become a physiotherapist.

 

Robin joins us from the French part of Switzerland. Robin enjoys playing competitive football and many other sports. He wishes to travel Australia whilst studying English to improve his future opportunities.

 

Ambre joins us from the French part of Belgium. Ambre enjoys riding her bicycle to watch the sunset and plays piano. Ambre finished her high school studies last year and is hoping to improve her English and further discover Australia and Byron Bay.

 

Lilou also joins us from the French part of Belgium. Lilou plays basketball and loves horse-riding. She finished high school last year and came to study in Australia because of its beauty and how much there is to see and do.

 

Ludivine also joins us from the French part of Belgium. She recently completed her studies of biology and has decided to take a gap year to learn more English, travel and take some time for herself. Ludivine is interested in nature, ecology and animals.

 

Emma joins us from France. Emma is interested in completing a jewellery apprenticeship. She chose to study in Australia because of the great things she had heard from friends. She hopes to continue her travels in the future.

 

Mariana joins us from Spain. She loves all things nature, particularly hiking. Mariana has already met new friends in Byron Bay. She wishes to learn very good English and continue to travel the country and eventually find her career in social work.

 

Lluis also joins us from Spain. He loves to surf and plays both guitar and saxophone. He chose to study in Byron Bay due to his passion for surfing. He hopes to refine his English and eventually find a trade to work in.

 

Andrea also joins us from Spain. She loves the outdoors and all things health and fitness. Andrea chose to study in Australia due to the great weather and to be close to the ocean. She is learning English to one day study Shakespeare in London.

 

Mio joins us from Japan. Mio loves the ocean, her hobbies include diving, snorkelling and watching movies. She worked as a kindergarten teacher in Japan and hopes to continue working with children in Australia.

 

Mie also joins us from Japan. She has been playing classical piano since she was three years old and hopes to become a professional pianist. She loves art and music. Mie is enthusiastic about her English studies and reaching her dreams.

 

Saki also joins us from Japan. She chose to study in Byron Bay because of her love of yoga. Saki wishes to study English to be able to communicate with many people. She enjoys cooking and hopes to become a chef and open a Japanese restaurant where she can speak fluently to her customers.

 

Hislene joins us from Brazil. She was previously a nurse but has moved to study and work in Australia. Hislene loves sports, particularly swimming and is looking forward to meeting new people throughout her studies.

 

Barbara joins us from Chile. It is her first time in Australia! Barbara loves spending time with her dog and going for walks on the beach. In the future, she would like to have a remote job so that she can continue to travel.
