Today we are thrilled to welcome 8 new students from Colombia, Japan, Brazil, Italy and Belgium!
Leidy joins us from Colombia. Leidy wants to reach English proficiency for professional and personal reasons. Her dream job in Colombia would require her to obtain advanced English skills and she wants to be able to fluidly converse with people from around the world.
Minami joins us from Japan. Minami was learning English in Malta for 3-months and improved her English speaking there in particular. She wants to improve more so she has joined us! Minami chose Byron Bay because one of her favourite hobbies is scuba diving.
Airi also joins us from Japan. Airi is eager to learn and try new things in Byron Bay. She wants to try surfing, skateboarding, drink lots of good coffee and chill out at the beach. Airi loves coffee, she worked as a barista in Japan and hopes to work as a barista in Byron Bay.
Aoi also joins us from Japan. Aoi is at the beginning of her English learning journey but is determined to reach proficiency. She would love to work in Australia one day. She also wants to try surfing, frequent the beach and keep warm at cafes.
Marion joins us from Brazil. Marion is eager to improve his English and ideally wants to find work online so that he can continue travelling. Eventually, he would like to travel more of Australia and possibly undertake a new graduate degree.
Francesco comes from Italy. Francesco’s favourite hobby is surfing, hence his decision to join us in Byron Bay, a surfer’s paradise. He is studying English because it is important for his future, personally and professionally.
Elia also joins us from Italy. Beyond wanting to learn English, Elia is here to experience new things and to possibly find his passion. Depending on how it all goes, he will either stay in Australia and work or return to Italy for university starting September.
Shadey joins us from Belgium. Shadey wanted to study English in Australia because it is a beautiful country. Shadey is studying tourism so English is very important. While in Byron, she would like to make new friends from different countries and immerse herself in the Byron Bay way of life.
