Today we are thrilled to welcome new students from the French, Italian and German parts of Switzerland, Japan, Spain and New Caledonia.
Elisa joins us from the French part of Switzerland. She is happy to have escaped the Swiss winter for the Australian summer. Upon completion of her English studies, Elisa will spend 8-months travelling around Asia.
Michaela joins us from the Italian part of Switzerland. Michaela is studying at Lexis to prepare for her school’s entry test. She chose to study in Australia because of the natural beauty and many activities on offer.
Mike joins us from the German part of Switzerland. Mike’s goal is to become a more confident English speaker. After Lexis, Mike will travel the east coast of Australia and likely stopover in Bali before returning home.
Natsuki joins us from Japan. Natsuki chose Byron Bay because she loves the beach, scuba diving and marine life. She wants to improve her English so that she can make Australian and international friends. Natsuki works in aged care in Japan and would like to experience working in aged care in Australia.
Lulu joins us from Spain. Lulu decided to study English in Australia because the country fascinates her. Lulu studied Advertising and to get a job in an ad agency it is necessary to have a good level of English.
Emma also joins us from Spain. Emma stepped out of her comfort zone and enrolled to study English far from home. She is excited to experience the Australian way of life and improve her English in all areas.
Anna also joins us from Spain. Anna is studying at Lexis to prepare for the IELTS exam. Sitting the IELTS exam is necessary for her to study her master’s degree when she returns home. Her undergraduate degree was in social work and her master’s degree will be in sexology.
Patrick and his son Guilain join us from New Caledonia. Patrick and Guilain are avid surfers and have already been to some of Byron Bay’s great surf spots. They have rented a car and plan to explore the hinterlands and national parks surrounding Byron Bay.
