Yesterday we were thrilled to welcome 11 new students from the Italian and German parts of Switzerland, Mexico, Korea, Japan, Italy, Brazil, Spain and Germany!
Jordane joins us from the Italian part of Switzerland. Jordan wants to improve his English to expand his career prospects but also because it is the world’s language and will open many doors. He chose Byron Bay so that he could also focus on surfing.
Natalie joins us from the German part of Switzerland. Natalie loves to travel, meet new people and chill at the beach with a margarita. She is also a keen surfer, hence her decision to join us in surfer’s paradise Byron Bay. While at Lexis, she hopes to improve her English, particularly her vocabulary and have a good time.
Alana joins us from Mexico. Alana came to Australia for a new experience, to be by herself and learn new things. She was drawn to Byron Bay by the natural beauty and the opportunities for self-development.
Kim joins us from Korea. Kim is a passionate photographer and loves to travel. He plans to capture some amazing shots of Australia. He will also work hard to improve his English in all areas.
Nono joins us from Japan. Nono wants to improve her English so that she can make friends and communicate with people from around the world. It will also help her with her work in Japan.
Fumina also joins us from Japan. Fumina loves the ocean and is keen to learn to surf while in Byron Bay. She loves speaking English and wants to improve her grammar at Lexis.
Luca joins us from Italy. Luca will commence his Masters in Energetic Engineering later this year and it will be delivered in English. This is the primary reason for his journey to Australia and enrolment at Lexis. However, he is also excited to explore Australia’s many beautiful destinations and meet some locals.
Barbara joins us from Bazil. Barbara chose Australia because of its similarities to Brazil and its reputation for an amazing quality of life. She chose Byron Bay specifically because she loves going to the beach and small cities.
Beatriz joins us from Spain. Beatriz decided to study English in Australia because English is a requirement for her job in Spain. She is excited to be learning through immersion in a native-speaking country.
Cristina also joins us from Spain. Cristina is here to learn English but also to experience the smells, colours, textures, new people, food, feelings… everything that Australia has to offer. Cristina wants to become an international Art Director so improving her English is imperative.
Julius joins us from Germany. Julius is taking a gap year to see the world and learn English before commencing university. His trip itinerary includes destinations around Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. Julius is completing our English and Surfing program which involves part-time General English with surfing lessons.
