Today we are thrilled to welcome 8 new students from Japan, Spain and Switzerland!
Nozomi joins us from Japan. Nozomi loves socializing and having conversations in English with people from around the world. Her dream job would involve communicating in English, not just Japanese. She chose to study in Byron Bay for the nature, slow life and sea.
Haruna also joins us from Japan. This is Haruna’s second trip to Australia, she visited 7 years ago for college and really enjoyed the experience. Her dream job would involve working between Japan and Australia. She is excited to live close to the beach and plans to spend lots of time there.
Yuka also joins us from Japan. Yuka is determined to improve her English in all areas. She really enjoys a good coffee and wants to try the best spots in Byron Bay. She is also interested in travelling around the area to see waterfalls, lookouts and wildlife.
Kaede also joins us from Japan. Kaede is living her dream of studying English. While here, she will practice yoga, frequent the beach, and try surfing! She was surprised by how cold it is in Byron Bay at the moment.
Tenson also joins us from Japan. Tenson chose to study English in Byron Bay so that he can concurrently try out surfing. He wants to improve his English so that he can be a teacher one day. He has already found some delicious food in Byron Bay and is keen to try more.
Yusuke also joins us from Japan. Yusuke will study at Lexis and then hopes to find work in Australia in fashion, ideally vintage fashion. She identified speaking and listening as her weaknesses and she really wants to improve in these areas at Lexis.
Maria joins us from Spain. Maria is studying at Lexis Byron Bay in preparation for sitting the IELTS exam which she requires to work as a hearing care professional in Australia. Maria feels at home in Byron Bay already and has lots of activities she wants to participate in while living here.
Noa comes from the French part of Switzerland. He transferred from our Noosa campus and decided to join us in Byron Bay for the small-town lifestyle and fantastic beaches for surfing.
