Yesterday at Lexis Byron Bay, we made some pizza from scratch!
Our latest hands-on activity was a blast! The students had the chance to communicate and read recipes while diving into the messy, yet incredibly fun, world of pizza-making.
We opted for a no-yeast dough recipe, which sped up the process without sacrificing flavor—our dough turned out just as delicious as any traditional recipe!
The first step involved mixing the dry and wet ingredients to form the dough. It took some effort to get everything combined, but after about three minutes of kneading, it all came together beautifully.
While some students focused on the dough, others were busy creating the sauce and preparing the toppings.
In the end, we made four pizzas—two with meat and cheese, and two vegan options. The students absolutely loved making their pizzas from scratch and, of course, devouring their creations afterward!
