Yesterday at Lexis Byron Bay, we baked some delicious, rich, chocolate brownies!
We started off by lining our baking tray, and melting our butter and chocolate.
Whilst our chocolate-butter mixture was melting, we mixed the dry ingredients together- flour, brown sugar, cocoa powder and salt.
In a separate bowl we whisked three eggs and some vanilla extract.
We then combined all the ingredients together in a large bowl, whilst another student was chopping a block of chocolate into chunks, which we added in after!
Once this brownie batter was in the oven, we decided to make a second batch to use up all of our leftover ingredients (as well as some Oreos).
After we took our brownies out of the oven and let them cool, we enjoyed them together outside, chatting and getting to know each other!
