On Friday our Students relaxed and unwound at one of our favourite activities- Paint and Sip!
Paint and Sip – What is it?
Paint and Sip is a popular social activity that combines art with the enjoyment of alcoholic beverages, typically wine. It’s a relaxed and creative event where participants can unwind, socialize, and express their artistic talents, even if they have little to no prior experience.
Our students had the opportunity to either follow the inspiration (Ken Dones’ ‘Sydney Harbour’) or follow their own creative intuitions!
Students started by using pencils and light paints to draw rough outlines of their art.
They then filled their pages with colour! Mixing the paints to create their perfect colours.
The students finalised their work by adding some smaller details using black and white pens, and acrylic paints.
It was amazing to see how differently everyone interpreted their art. We can’t wait for our next Paint and Sip!
