Food Truck Fridays

When/Where: Friday 13 December – 11:00 am – 6:00 pm – Sunshine Coast Brewery

Description: Food truck Fridays will see us welcome a different food vendor into the brewery every Friday. Meals range from $5 to $16 Lots of amazing craft beer on tap, all produced on site plus soft drink, wine & spirits available. Kunda Park is only ten minutes from Maroochydore.

Eumundi Christmas Extravaganza

When/Where: Friday 13 December – 3:30 – 9:30pm – 70-76 Memorial Dr, Eumundi

Description: The Eumundi Christmas Extravaganza will be a three and a half hour show incorporating Christmas themed entertainment for the whole family. The evening starts with a few songs by Eumundi School Choir followed by the Park Bench Ukelele Group. Next up is the Santa’s Festive Show, a children’s interactive song and dance show with costumed characters.Nickleby the Magician will demonstrate the magic of Christmas in his performance and the evening will be rounded out with the Boston Belles singing carols. There will also be balloons by Miss Donna, a Santa photo booth and it is all adjacent to the Eumundi Night Markets with food vendors and market stalls. So bring your picnic rug and enjoy all the free entertainment with family and friends.

Mooloolaba Summer Movie Series - Mary Poppins Returns

When/Where: Saturday 14 December – 6-8pm- Mooloolaba Esplanade

Description: Family friendly movies on the beach near the iconic Loo with a View at Mooloolaba. Gold coin donation to be collected by local community groups.
Bring your blankets and grab a takeway from one of Mooloolaba’s great eateries or stay on for dinner after the movie. Films start when the sun goes down around 6pm.

Mooloolaba Annual Christmas Boat Parade

When/Where: Saturday 14 December – 7-10pm – Anywhere along the Mooloolah River

Description: Make sure you gather your family and friends for a light filled night on the Mooloolah River for the Christmas Boat Parade.

Solar Nights 2019

When/Where: All Weekend – From 6:30pm – USC, Sippy Downs

Description: Welcome to a playful light-filled wonderland that gets everybody talking. Bring your tribe and immerse yourself in the power of light at USC’s Solar Nights!

This FREE event, featuring a sea of captivating light displays, is a celebration of sustainable energy, creativity, the environment and community.

We started Solar Nights in 2018 to celebrate our partnership with Veolia to solar power our Sunshine Coast campus. We transformed our campus into a captivating wonderland that inspired audiences of all ages. After last year’s massive success, we’re excited to do it all again this year! Solar Nights is an easy adventure across USC’s Sunshine Coast campus for friends and family to take in the lights. And chances are, you will want to stay and play at Solar Nights, so this year we’ve rounded out the fun festival atmosphere with a food truck area to settle in and relax – featuring Mexican, gourmet calamari, loaded fries, as well as donut creations and real-fruit ice-cream for those sneaky late-night treats.

Sunshine Coast Collective Markets at Alexandra Headland

Description: We have been approved for three more bonus market days at Alex Headland and we couldn’t be more excited!!! You can find us either side of the Alexandra Headland Skatepark!

Sunshine Coast Collective Markets isn’t just your average market….. it is a collective of over 100 local Sunshine Coast designers, musicians, artists, foodies, creators, vintage wares and lifestyle lovers. No mass produced or cheap imported products to be found!
