A First week of Fun and Adventure for our TAP students in Noosa
Lara, Clara, Uno, Sota, Kyle and Rito join our Teenage Activity Programme.
Noosa is the perfect place for students to explore, learn, and have a great time. This past week, we welcomed our TAP students who have enjoyed an action-packed schedule filled with unique experiences, breathtaking views, and lots of laughter. Here’s a recap of our unforgettable week:
Monday: Exploring Noosa Junction and Hastings Street
We kicked off the week with a walking tour through Noosa Junction and Hastings Street to introduce our TAP students to the local area. Starting in the Junction, we wandered through its vibrant streets, discovering quirky shops and cozy cafés. From there, we made our way to Hastings Street, where we admired boutique stores and enjoyed the buzz of the iconic beachfront strip. We wanted to get familiar with the beach ahead of our first surf lesson!
Tuesday: Experience Noosa’s surf
Tuesday was all about catching waves! For some of our TAP students, it was their first time surfing, but with expert instructors guiding us, everyone managed to stand up and ride the waves. The feeling of accomplishment and the joy of being in the ocean was unmatched. Surfing at Noosa’s famous beaches is truly a must-do experience.
Wednesday: Noosa National Park Walk
Midweek, we slowed things down with a scenic walk through Noosa National Park. Surrounded by lush greenery, we followed the coastal track, taking in stunning ocean views and trying to spot Aussie wildlife like koalas and dolphins. We were lucky enough to spot a turtle surfacing at Dolphin Point which was an amazing sight to behold.
Thursday: Back to Surfing
By Thursday, our enthusiasm for surfing hadn’t waned. With the basics already mastered, we took on slightly bigger waves and learned to paddle. The camaraderie and encouragement from friends made it even more fun. It was another fantastic day of sun, sea, and surf!
Friday: Volleyball Fun
We wrapped up the week with a spirited game of volleyball. It was a great way to finish of our first week at Lexis and bring in the weekend. Whether spiking, serving, or just cheering from the sidelines, everyone had a blast.
This week in Noosa reminded us of the joy of being outdoors and sharing experiences with friends. Whether exploring the town, surfing, or enjoying nature, there’s no shortage of things to do in this beautiful coastal paradise. What a fantastic way to balance learning and leisure!
