Ignacio is one of our students from Upper-Intermediate class in Lexis Sunshine Coast. He is from Spain and today we interviewed him to find out more about him and his plans in Australia.
Why did you decide to come to Sunshine Coast?
I chose Sunshine Coast because I wanted to live near the beach and in my opinion, Sunshine Coast has an awesome beach, and the weather is just perfect.
Are you working? How did you find a job?
I am working as a barman in a bar called Circa. On my first day on Sunshine Coast, I saw Circa, and I thought it was a cool bar, so I decided to give them my resume, two days after I was working there. It was really easy to find a job.
What are your plans?
I don’t have much planned at the moment but, I want to work in Australia and save some money so I can travel around Asia for a bit before going back to Spain.
What advice would you give to new students?
I would say to them to not be afraid because it is a unique experience, and they will learn from it. There are plenty of job opportunities here and all the staff at Lexis are very nice. I also found that Australians are very kind.
