Celebrating Our Graduates: Memories from Lexis Sunshine Coast!
Last Friday, November 8, was an incredible day here at Lexis Sunshine Coast! We gathered to celebrate our amazing students as they graduated and took a huge step toward their dreams. Our international graduates come from all corners of the world, each with unique stories, goals, and experiences. Here’s a look at the journeys of some of our unforgettable students who’ve left an impact on our school.
Naoki’s Journey from Japan
Naoki arrived at Lexis from Japan with big dreams of improving his English and diving into Australian culture. Graduationg from the Intermediate class, he embraced every opportunity that came his way. Naoki completed his bar and cocktail training, earning his RSA certification, and is now exploring job opportunities in hospitality. He left us with a heartfelt message: “Being at Lexis has been my best experience ever. Thank you for everything.” Naoki, your journey is just beginning, and we can’t wait to hear about all the amazing things you’ll achieve!
Pauline’s Australian Experience – From France
Pauline, who graduated from our Advanced class, was with us only for a short time but left a lasting impression. Starting at Upper Intermediate, she quickly leveled up to Advanced with her hard work, positive attitude, and friendliness. Pauline plans to travel a bit more around Australia, and while we’re sad to see her go, we know she’ll continue to spread joy wherever she goes. Thank you, Pauline—your Lexis family will miss you!
Chloe and Simon – Partners from France
Chloe, who graduated from Pre-Intermediate, and Simon, from Elementary, spent four wonderful weeks with us, bringing smiles and positivity every day. They loved joining in on after-class activities, meeting friends from all over the world, and truly immersing themselves in the Sunshine Coast lifestyle. Now, they’re job hunting and planning more adventures in Australia, hoping to stay on the Sunny Coast a bit longer before heading south. Chloe and Simon, thank you for making Lexis brighter with your warm spirits!
Leydy’s Long Journey – From Colombia
Leydy, part of our Lexis family for over a year, made incredible progress, starting from Elementary and graduating from Upper Intermediate. Her journey had its ups and downs, but her hard work and dedication were truly inspiring. Leydy is taking a short break before she starts a VET course here in Australia, and we know she’ll continue to succeed. Leydy, your Lexis friends and teachers will miss you dearly. Thank you for being such an essential part of our community!
Mel’s Academic Success – From Spain
Mel, also with us for over a year, started in Upper Intermediate and worked through all our test preparation levels. Graduating from our Cambridge Focus class, she’s now ready to take her Cambridge test and is confident she’ll succeed. Mel’s journey was full of dedication, and she leaves with not only stronger English skills but countless friendships and unforgettable memories. Mel, we’re so proud of you, and we wish you all the best in Spain. Keep in touch!
