Volleyball and Good Vibes at KB’s Noosa

Soaking up the afternoon sun with some friendly volleyball

With summer here the temperature is cranking up, and that means our students can immerse themselves in the active outdoor lifestyle that is rife throughout Australia. There isn’t a much more summer-y game than volleyball, a game that is synonymous with sun, sand and good times.

Today we made the short walk down to KB’s Noosa and put our volleyball skills to good use for our Wednesday afternoon activity.

KB’s generously let us use their sand volleyball court this afternoon and with the sun shining, you would have thought we were at the beach! With a freshly pumped up ball, we played a few short rallies to warm up before splitting into teams to begin a “winner stays on” style series of matches.

We played with teams of 6 and played first to 11 points. Everyone had a great time rotating in and out and we all got our share of volleyball action. There was some amazing volleyball on display with long, hard fought points and it was clear that some of our students have definitely graced the volleyball court before!

It was a hot one and a few of us enjoyed a quick dip in the pool and a refreshing beer to cool down.

After a couple of hours of volleyball, we went our separate ways having shared an afternoon of fun, laughter and good times to be remembered by all.
