A relaxing creative afternoon colouring in with a glass of wine
Today we had to change plans at last minute due to some rain. We had planned a fun afternoon in the sun with some beach volleyball, but the weather had other plans. Nevertheless, we ensured everyone had a great time and decided for some last minute ‘sip’n colour-in’.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life, the “Sip and Colour-in” activity offered a welcome break. Students immersed themselves in the calming rhythm of colouring with either pencils or texters, allowing their minds to wander and explore without constraints. The activity served as a creative retreat, providing a space for introspection and rejuvenation, all while making friends and enjoying a glass of wine.

As pencils danced across the pages, and wine was sipped, students engaged in lively conversations and shared laughter. The activity served as a starter for forming new friendships and strengthening existing bonds within the Lexis community. It was a reminder that sometimes, the simplest activities can forge the strongest connections. Colouring-in promotes mindfulness and self-care. By focusing on the present moment and the soothing act of colouring, students experienced a sense of calm and tranquillity. It was a chance to slow down, recharge, and cultivate a sense of well-being amid busy schedules.
One of the most beautiful aspects of the “Sip and Colour-In” activity was the celebration of diversity. Students from different backgrounds and cultures came together to share their unique perspectives through art. The vibrant selection of colours reflected the rich diversity of the Lexis English Noosa community. It was lovely to see the individual results of everyone’s art.

Today’s activity at Lexis English Noosa was more than just an art session; it was a celebration of creativity, connection, and mindfulness. As students coloured their way through the afternoon, they discovered the joy of self-expression and the power of community. Here’s to more moments of relaxation, inspiration, and shared creativity at Lexis English Noosa!
