The end of term causes for celebration and what’s better than getting out of the classroom and exploring Noosa National Park on a glorious autumn day?!
Last Friday, to celebrate finishing 10 weeks of dedication and hard work, our pre-intermediate class spent the day hiking through the Noosa National Park. Teacher Ismail, led his class along the ‘Coastal Track‘. This popular hike starts at Sunshine Beach and follows a coastal pathway north, for approximately 5km, to Noosa Heads. The trail is relatively well-maintained and is suitable for most fitness levels.
Along the way, our students passed through stunning beaches, headlands, and scenic viewpoints that are worth exploring. Some notable highlights include Tea Tree Bay, where you can relax on the sandy beach and take a refreshing swim; Dolphin Point, a popular lookout for spotting dolphins playing in the waves; and Hell’s Gates, a rocky headland providing panoramic views of the coastline.
The trail also offers excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing. Keep an eye out for koalas, kangaroos, goannas and a variety of bird species that call the national park home. Our students kept a keen eye out for whales also, as their migration season starts in June and early whale siting’s have been reported.
Our pre-intermediate class loved their day out of the classroom and said that they wish every Friday could be spent like that. It was a beautiful way to celebrate everyone’s achievements over the last 10 weeks and to celebrate together before all our Lexis classes were mixed-up!
Congratulations on your past 10 weeks and good luck with your new classes everyone!
