On Wednesday, our students tasted a variety of different chocolates for our weekly activity.
Jessie, our senior teacher selected 6 different types of chocolate for our students to try, each with different flavours and made in different countries. The chocolates that the students tried were:
Cadbury Rum & Raisin – Cadbury Old Gold Dark Chocolate Old Jamaica Rum N Raisin contains generous chunks of rich dark chocolate, full of juicy whole raisins infused with warm hits of rum.
Terry’s Chocolate Orange Bites – Terry’s Chocolate Orange is a winning combination of delicious chocolate flavoured with natural orange oil in bite-sized pieces.
Cadbury Popping Candy – Popping candy that literally pops in your mouth surrounded in creamy milk chocolate!
Cadbury Fury Friends – Cadbury Furry Friends have been an all time Aussie favourite for years! They come in the shapes of Australian animals, such as, Wombat, Echidna, Kangaroo, Platypus and Tasmanian Devil.
Cadbury Twirl Bites – Bite-sized pieces of indulgent chocolatey swirls, wrapped in smooth Cadbury milk chocolate
DaraLee Peanut Brittle – Handmade peanut brittle pieces generously mixed with fresh roasted peanuts
Our students loved this activity and had a great time tasting the different chocolates. The students observed the varying tastes, smells and textures in their groups.
The students tried many flavours of chocolate that they had never tried before and were able to try Australia’s all-time favourite chocolate, Cadbury.
There were no disappointments with any of these varieties of chocolate, they were all enjoyed by everyone.
The feedback for this activity was great and of course, it was requested to bring chocolate tasting back again soon.
