Noosa – Celebrating Our Amazing Graduates – 21st April

This afternoon, Lexis Noosa said hooroo to 6 of our wonderful students who have finished their English courses. Congratulations to Ayane, Deungyong, Hye Jeong, Karin, Misato and Tomoki!

Fridays at Lexis English are quite memorable days! The campus comes together to celebrate the achievements and our graduating students and new journey in life. They can be exciting days for some, or bitter-sweet for others. ‘Sweet’ is the exciting part. Graduation means entering the next chapter in one’s life where they go off to explore new places or continue their studies into Uni or Tafe. It’s a day to celebrate all of their hard work and dedication during their time at Lexis. However, the ‘bitter’ part for some, means saying goodbye to incredible friends they’ve met through their time here. We hope that each student will always remember their time at Lexis and keeps Noosa close to their hearts wherever they may end up in the future.

Graduation

Ayane and Misato Everyone from Lexis Noosa, especially their teacher Kelly, are going to miss Ayane and Misato so much! These lovely ladies have both been studying with us since January this year and brought so much character to their Intermediate class. Both Ayane and Misato are flying back to Japan next week to reunite with their family and friends.

Deungyong – Deungyong is also graduating from Kelly’s Intermediate class and is hanging around Noosa for a while to hang out with his friends and explore more of the Sunshine Coast. We loved having Deungyong study with us and made us giggle every morning he’d run into class late.

Tomoki – Tomoki graduated from his Advanced English class today and alongside him are his teachers Jessie and Chanelle. Although Tomoki made lots of friends during his time at Lexis, he is super excited for his next journey to begin! Firstly, Tomoki is off to Cairns to see the Great Barrier Reef. After that, he meets up with his brother to explore Melbourne and Sydney in one short week, then he’s off to Lexis Brisbane to start his new enrolment. Tomoki loves Noosa, however, explains that he is more of a ‘city’ person and wants to be amongst the hustle and bustle of shops, bars and people.

We will miss him greatly and wish him all the best in Brisbane!

Karin – Karin was in our PSGT (Premium Small Group Training) class and unfortunately missed graduation today as she was off exploring Elanda Point in Noosa. Karin was in PSGT for only 2 weeks and saw more of the Sunshine Coast than most people do living here. Karin, Paulo and their teacher Rob got up to some epic activities like going to Australia Zoo, learning to surf, 4-wheel driving up to Double Island Point and Rainbow beach. They also strolled through the famous Eumundi Markets, climbed Mount Tinbeerwah and went for a drive through the countryside of Noosa Hinterland to Maleny.

Karin is now off to Cairns, Fiji for a couple weeks, New Caledonia and then after that she’s unsure. All she knows is that she has to be back home in Switzerland middle of June, so wherever the plane takes her is where she’ll end up. We love Karin’s free spirit and wish her a very safe trip!

We thank all of these graduating students for choosing Lexis Noosa and are honored to be a part of the English learning journey! We hope they’ll always remember their time here and we wish them all the best for their future!
