Welcome to Lexis Brisbane!
This morning we welcomed 10 wonderful new General English students to our Brisbane campus! Joining the Lexis Brisbane family this week is Onur from Turkey, Romy, Noah and Raphael from Switzerland, Yu from Japan, Gabriele from Italy, Chun from Hong Kong, Sumin from South Korea, and Gabriel who has transferred to us from Lexis English in Scarborough.
Mondays are always exciting because we get to welcome new brilliant minds to our Lexis Brisbane family! Each new student brings with them unique experiences, cultures, and aspirations, enriching our diverse community. As we embrace the spirit of inclusivity and global connectivity, we are thrilled to open our doors to these talented individuals from all corners of the world. At Lexis Brisbane, we take pride in the rich tapestry of cultures that make up our student body. Each students brings a unique perspective, and together, we create an environment that fosters learning, growth, and acceptance. As these ten wonderful new students join our ranks, we eagerly anticipate the magic that will unfold when they collaborate with our existing students and staff.
With the arrival of these new members, we encourage everyone to reach out and extend a warm hand of friendship. Whether it’s chatting over coffee in our vibrant student lounge or participating in our diverse range of social activities, let’s make an effort to create meaningful connections that will last a lifetime. To our new students, we want to assure you that our dedicated team of teachers, staff, and fellow students are here to support you every step of the way. We understand that adjusting to a new environment can be challenging at first, but rest assured, you are not alone on this journey. Your success is our success, and together, we will achieve great heights.

In terms of getting involved with our growing community, each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, we organise group activities for all of our students to get involved in, whether it be karaoke, field trips, cocktail-making, arts and crafts, paint and sips, yoga, or even video game competitions. Our Coffee and Conversation Club on Mondays is the perfect mix of learning and fun, allowing our students to practice both their listening and speaking skills whilst enjoying some delicious coffee and the company of friends. On the other hand, we have opportunities for our students to solely focus on their studies outside of class time, such as ‘GIL’; Guided Individual Learning. GIL allows students to receive help on particular topics from one of our fantastic teachers outside of their designated class time. Our weekly activities and study opportunities are organised because we want our students to achieve success and be proactive about their learning whilst having a heap of fun! Here at Lexis Brisbane, we aren’t just a learning institution, we are a family.
