At Lexis English, we believe that food brings people together, and our recent Hot Dog Party was the perfect example of this. Students gathered to enjoy classic Aussie-style hot dogs, complete with bread rolls, sausages, mayonnaise, mustard, and of course, the Australian favorite—BBQ sauce!
While everyone enjoyed their hot dogs, the real highlight of the event was the lively conversation. Students from all over the world shared how hot dogs are made in their home countries. It was fascinating to hear about the variety of ingredients and toppings used around the globe! In some places, mashed potatoes or corn are a must-have, while others add creative sauces or different types of sausages.
The Hot Dog Party was not just about the food—it was a chance to connect, laugh, and learn about each other’s cultures in a relaxed and fun setting. Events like these help make Lexis English a special place, where students from different backgrounds can come together, enjoy good food, and form lasting friendships.
