This Friday 2nd of January, students will have the chance to participate in events which have been specially organised in association with Noosa’s Woodford Wind Down!!!
Students have the opportunity to sign up for 1, or all 3 of the activities listed below for Friday.
ARCADIA WALK – 1:30 – 2:00Understanding Performance Poetry with Danksta Down Under.
NOOSA FAIR – 2:00 – 3:00Kleenbeats Hip Hop. Learn to dance from Australia’s best Hip Hop teachers.
GV NOOSA – 3:00 – 4:00 Percussion workshop. Jamaican born “Chicken George” is a well renowned Sunshine Coast performer. He will entertain students at Global Village with his interactive African/Latin beats!
From 7.00 p.m a five hour 18 plus concert and dance party featuring some of the main acts from Woodford (including Jeff Lang and Mamadou Diabate) will entertain patrons at The J. From 10.00 p.m Dance Party commences with DJ/producer PQM (ex New York) improvising with outstanding local musicians.
Dance Party Tickets are available for $20 per person. See Activities if you wish to attend.
2 FREE tickets will be given to two lucky students at the “Chicken George” Percussion workshop.
