On Friday we said farewell to two beautiful students who have been here at Byron Lexis for a long time…Rafa and Ana. Rafa arrived in February 2020, and Ana in November 2019.
Ana started in Elementary when she arrived and spent a lot of time at that level, getting a good base of English Grammar and confidence. She has now graduated with an Intermediate certificate from Mel and Kathleen‘s class. Congratulations Ana!
Rafael went into the Pre-Intermediate class when he arrived and at the end of last year did the FCE preparation course and exam. After that he entered our Advanced / IELTS class to continue his studies. Now he’s doing a Carpentry Course at TAFE – very well done!
We have been so used to their smiley faces around campus, it will feel so strange to see them go! Rafa said to us when he left that in all the chaos he’s experienced during his time in Australia, Lexis has been his safe place. He said Lexis Byron Bay is the best place in Australia. That says it all!
