What an amazing effort from all the students and staff at Lexis Byron Bay. We raised a whopping $1130 for our charity of choice, WIRES.
We wanted to make sure that everyone had the chance to donate so we had a donations container at reception.
Every activity for the week of Jan 20th – 24th, all students made a gold coin donation.
We held a Sweet Exchange where students could buy or make something sweet, bring it to school, make a $2 donation and then eat as much as they wanted.
We also had a silent auction where students and teacher could place a bid for an item and if they were the highest bidder they would then pay the amount they bid for that item.
A fun week for a great cause! Thanks again to everyone who donated.
