Last Wednesday our students got competitive and played some beach games for prizes!
We played beach soccer and cricket. Many students were new to the Aussie sport of Cricket, and they thoroughly enjoyed it.
After playing cricket, we moved on to a big game of soccer. We had four teams of five, and the top two winning teams received an amazing prize!
The prize for the two winning teams of soccer was a free ticket to a local festival. It was a Mexican festival including DJ’s, authentic food, and great vibes!
After the big game of soccer, we all cooled of with an ocean swim.
Everyone was excited to be outside in the sunshine enjoying some outdoor movement and connecting with their peers.
It was a great way to get out of the classroom and burn some energy to help them continue through their hard studies!
