Whilst with us here at Lexis, the students will enjoy English lessons each day supplemented with a wide variety of exciting activities. Together, we will surf twice weekly, walk through the national park, play volleyball, enjoy Australian foods and soak up Australian culture and make many memories along the way.
The first day of a new course blends excitement and anticipation. As new students from diverse backgrounds gather, they embark on a journey to enhance their language skills and embrace a new culture. Our orientation morning welcomes students and introduces them to the course structure, resources, and support services, easing initial apprehensions. Meeting peers, support staff, and teachers fosters community, while placement tests ensure they start at the right proficiency level. The day is filled with icebreakers, campus tours, and essential information, laying a strong foundation for their academic and social success in the course ahead.
Noosa, nestled on Australia’s Sunshine Coast, is a stunning blend of natural beauty and relaxed elegance. Renowned for its pristine beaches, the sparkling waters of Noosa Main Beach invite visitors for a refreshing swim or a leisurely sunbathe. The lush greenery of Noosa National Park offers breathtaking coastal views and diverse wildlife, making it a paradise for nature enthusiasts. Cafes and restaurants line the charming streets of Noosa Heads, providing a perfect balance of luxury and laid-back coastal charm. Whether exploring the tranquil Noosa River or savouring the vibrant local culture, Noosa’s enchanting beauty captivates all who visit.
As soon as the new students walk through the door at Lexis, we want to ensure they feel at home. We offer support and encourage them to get to know their fellow students.
“Making friends with international students was priceless. I could learn lots of different points of view from different cultures by spending time with them and get my best friend from the other side of the world. Everything I learnt here is going to be helpful for the next step in my life. No matter how much time goes by from now on, I will cherish those precious experiences from Lexis forever.”
The students can take part in activities and create lasting friendships with their classmates through weekly workshops and fun activities. The workshops are teacher-led and are packed with practical tips and guidance in the following subject areas:
- Conversation Club
