Our TAP students are taking learning from the classroom out into the real world! Have a look at the fun afternoons of week 5 and 6.
After their successful morning classes, our TAP students (Teenage Activity Program) experience a range of sporting, cultural, social and sightseeing activities in Sydney.
Our current TAP group was joined by Ui, Kota, Yusuke, Reisuke, Sho, Takuto, Ryusei, Taiga, Moka, Chika, Fumiya, Haruto, Mao, Sawa, Zihao and Chuhao. Together they discovered the stunning scenery of the Northern Beaches, Sydney’s famous sights, native art and traditions.

The following week Tatsuo and Sora from Japan, as well as Rosi from Taiwan joined the group for the final week of the TAP program, completing the TAP group for 2024.
BEACH DAYS – Discovering the beauty of Sydney’s Northern Beaches
During their time together, they explored some scenic spots located around our campus. They spend afternoons at beautiful Manly, Delwood and Fairlight Beach together, taking in the views, playing beach sports, building sandcastles and practicing their English Skills.
ICONIC SYDNEY – Discovering Sydney’s CBD
Just a short ferry ride from Manly is Sydney’s famous CBD. Our students got up and close to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge and spend afternoons in the beautiful Botanical Gardens, taking on the challenge of Photo Scavenger hunt!
AUSTRALIA’S WILD LIFE – Chasing whales and mountains
It’s Whale Season on Australia’s East Coast! Each year from May to November, more than 40,000 humpback and southern right whales make their way along Sydney’s coastline in their annual migration from Antarctica to the warmer waters of the Pacific. To see the majestic creatures up close our students joined us for a Whale Watching tour!
After studying hard in their morning classes all week the TAP students gave the classroom a break and headed out on an exciting day trip. A private tour bus took our students out to the Blue Mountains, home to over 455 different animal species and older than the Grand Canyon. The group discovered the iconic scenery, rugged sandstone, waterfalls and lookouts.
CREATIVE AFTERNOONS – Spending a creative afternoons together
The boomerang represents the Indigenous Australians link to the country and a symbol for their long presence on this continent. Today our students learned about the difficult history of Australia and had a chance to get creative using traditional painting techniques.
The TAP program is a great opportunity to not only improve the language skills, but also get to form friendships and learn about different backgrounds. After a week of fun activities exploring, our students stayed on campus to create unique friendship bracelets for their new friends and families at home.
ACTIVE AFTERNOONS – Discovering new talents
On a sunny afternoon, our students put their golfing skills to the test at a fun Mini Golf session! An afternoon filled with laughter and great successes. It’s safe to say, we have discovered hidden talents in our students.
All TAP students have formed close friendships across the globe and made memories for a lifetime. It was a pleasure having everyone on campus, watching them gain confidence and amazing English skills while making the most of every day. Thank you for an amazing TAP intake – we had a blast with you all!

The next intake for TAP Sydney will be early 2025.
