Activity Recap: Boomerang Painting, Surfing & Tie-Dye
At Lexis English Noosa, our activity programme continues to give students the chance to relax, connect, and enjoy the iconic Noosa lifestyle outside the classroom.
Last Friday, students took part in Boomerang Painting, creating vibrant designs and unique keepsakes inspired by creativity and culture. This week, they enjoyed Surfing and Tie Dye, spending time in the ocean and taking part in relaxed, creative activities together.
Boomerang Painting
Last Friday, students took part in Boomerang Painting, exploring Indigenous-inspired art styles and creating their own decorated boomerangs. It was a relaxing and meaningful activity that combined creativity with cultural appreciation, with each student producing a special piece to remember the experience.
Surfing Lesson!
This week, students enjoyed a surfing session at Noosa Main Beach with Merrick’s Learn to Surf Noosa. With good conditions, it was a great opportunity for both beginners and more experienced surfers to get out on the water. Students learned the basics, practiced their balance, and celebrated every wave they managed to catch. For many, it was their first time surfing, making it an exciting and memorable experience shared with classmates along one of Noosa’s most iconic beaches.
Tie-Dye Workshop
Students took part in a Tie-Dye workshop, getting creative with colours and patterns to design their own unique pieces. Using different folding and dyeing techniques, each student created a personalised item to take home as a fun reminder of their time in Noosa. It was a relaxed, hands-on activity that encouraged creativity and plenty of laughter along the way.
