You sit all four skills, often on a single day, and receive a band score, there’s no “pass” or “fail”, just the level you achieved. Cambridge English Qualifications work differently. You prepare for a specific level, most adults aim for B2 First, C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency, and the exam is built around real-world English. When you pass, your certificate is yours for life. Many employers and universities love Cambridge because it proves sustained ability, not a single day’s performance.
