Our TAP students are having an awesome time exploring the wonderful city of Sydney!

SIGHTSEEING FUN – Discovering the beauty of the Northern Beaches!
To kick off their week our students discovered what the Northern Beaches has to offer, and explored the beautiful Dee Why Beach! The day was filled with adventure as they wandered along the golden sands, took in the spectacular coastal views, and enjoyed the refreshing sea breeze. They clambered up cliffs, trekked around the serene lagoon and got sandy with some beach volleyball! The combination of physical activity, exploration and the joy of playing together on the beach, created an unforgettable experience that set the tone for an exciting week ahead.

ACTIVE AFTERNOONS – Learning how to surf on Manly Beach & bowling fun!
Our students took to the waves with an exhilarating surf lesson at the beautiful Manly Beach! The students suited up in wetsuits and hit the water, guided by experienced instructors who taught them the basics of surfing. With the sun shining and waves crashing, they practiced balancing on their boards, paddling out, and catching their first waves. The thrill of standing up and riding a wave for the first time brought smiles and cheers all around. Beyond the fun, the surf lesson helped build confidence, teamwork, and a deep appreciation for the ocean, making it an unforgettable day.
Our TAP students had an absolute blast during their exciting bowling outing! As they arrived at the bowling alley, the atmosphere was filled with laughter and friendly competition. The students formed teams, donned their funky bowling shoes, and eagerly took turns rolling the balls down the slick lanes. The energy was contagious, with everyone encouraging each other and celebrating each small victory. Beyond the game itself, the outing provided a fantastic opportunity for socializing, teamwork, and making unforgettable memories together. The day was a perfect blend of fun, camaraderie, and friendly competition, leaving the students excited for their next adventure!

AUSTRALIA’S WILD LIFE – Discovering native animals
EXPLORING MUSEUMS – Spending afternoons learning about history & art!
Their adventure continued at the Museum of Contemporary Art, where they were inspired by innovative artworks from both Australian and international artists. The vibrant installations and thought-provoking pieces sparked engaging discussions among the students, encouraging them to express their own creativity. This day of exploration not only broadened their artistic horizons but also fostered a greater appreciation for the rich cultural landscape of Australia.
In the next two weeks, our TAP students will have the exciting opportunity to meet new peers joining the program! This is a fantastic chance for everyone to expand their social circles and make new friendships as they share experiences and interests. Whether it’s bonding over shared hobbies or collaborating on team challenges, the arrival of new students promises to bring fresh energy and perspectives to the group. We’re all looking forward to the new friendships that will blossom and the vibrant dynamics that will emerge, making this an even more enriching experience for everyone involved!
The next intake for TAP Sydney will be early 2025.
