On a beautiful Friday afternoon, our awesome students visited 10 Toes Brewery!
Is there a better way to celebrate the end of the week than heading to a local brewery with new friends?
After a hard week of study, our thirsty students made their way down to the awesome Sugar Road Tap Room, the home of local brewery, 10 Toes Brewing, who are “Self-proclaimed ratbags with good hearts making great beers”. Craft beer is made with traditional ingredients but often has added non-traditional ingredients to make it special and distinct.
The students had the opportunity to sample a variety of brews, from hoppy IPAs to crisp lagers, expanding their palate and discovering new favourites! Beyond the beer, 10 Toes is a gathering place for friends and neighbours, a hub of community activity where students can relax, unwind and connect with their fellow classmates.
Participating in activities allows students to meet like-minded people who share similar interests, fostering friendships. Building relationships with fellow students creates a sense of belonging and connectedness. It helps students to feel valued and part of a community, which is essential for overall happiness and well-being.
