On Monday we had a classic Aussie BBQ with all of our amazing students and teachers!
From backyard barbeques to beachside picnics, Aussies love nothing more than firing up the grill and cooking up a storm. So to help give our students the full Australian experience, we held a classic Aussie BBQ in the park. It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining, and the snags were delicious. (P.S if you didn’t know, “snag” is slang for “sausage” here in Australia).
Barbequing in Australia is about more than just the food. It’s a chance to gather with friends and family, soak up the sunshine and enjoy some quality time together. Whether it’s a casual weekend gathering or a big holiday celebration, barbequing is all about coming together and having fun.
The students had plenty of laughs and fun with some games of soccer, volleyball, frisbee and cricket!
Our Student Services Coordinators, Skyla and Kira were in charge of cooking the barbeque as the students lined up for a delicious sausage in bread!
