MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilitiesand essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Clean all assigned guestrooms including: dusting, making beds,soiled linen removal from rooms, and retrieval of clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, kitchen cleaning, sweeping balconies, inside window cleaning, replenish rooms with supplies
- Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Update and record all cleaned rooms to front office
- Return and properly tag all lost and found articles to front office
- Follow departmental policies and procedures and service standards
- Report necessary maintenance items
- Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. spring cleaning, etc.) as required
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness,sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
Empty trash containers and ashtrays
Return and restock cartat end of shift
- Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests e.g. cots, rollaways & high chairs
- Work to a schedule to ensure rooms are back prior to checkin time
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS &EXPERIENCE
Experience:
Previous hotel-related housekeeping cleaning experience desired
Skills:
Physical mobility and stamina required, ability to follow instruction,detail-oriented, professional attitude is required, ability to workindependently or as part of a team.
