We are celebrating our amazing graduates and course finishers at Lexis Manly.
Today was a special day for our 13 graduates and course finishers, not only did they get to celebrate their hard work with their new friends and teachers at the weekly graduation ceremony on the beach, they also got to enjoy a Lexis BBQ with all classes on their last day at Lexis.
We are proud of the hard work everyone has put in and are impressed with the dedication to learn a new language!
We are sadly saying goodbye to Etienne today, even though he was only with us for 3 weeks he had a big impact. He was eager to learn and make the most of this experience, he would attend all workshops and smile his way through the day. It was great having him with us, we adored his mindset and motivation. Etienne is a math teacher in Switzerland who would like to start teaching in English, we are happy that we could support your goals and know you will be a great teacher!
Tonke and Mio have only been with us for a couple of weeks but have settled in quickly. Tonke transferred from another school in Sydney where she felt very unhappy, she was looking for a school with students her age, social activities to support the English classes and a strong feeling of community within the students. She was happy to have found it within our Lexis family and made the most of the 2 weeks with us. We wish you all the best for your travels, Tonke!
Mio brought a lot of fun and joy to our classrooms, she will be missed dearly by her classmates and teachers. She enjoyed every day to the fullest and didn’t waste a second not smiling, we will miss that positive spirit! All the best for your flight home to Japan tomorrow.
David chose to study in Manly because he was excited to combine English lessons in the morning with surf sessions after class. Unfortunately he injured himself only shortly after his arrival and missed out on the surfing part. It didn’t stop him from having a great time, he has made friends quickly and still got to enjoy his time. We hope you make the most of your last 2 weeks in Sydney and finally get to use that surf board more!
