GV goes to the Wildlife Sanctuary

The Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is great place for students to get up close and personal with Australian animals
13 of the students and some staff enjoyed an afternoon at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. It is located less than an hours drive from the school. You can see all of those famous Australian animals in one place. There is a couple of shows that are free after you have paid your entrance fee including the Free Flight birdshow which included an enormous eagle that swoops down over the heads of the audience. The croc show was also good value – check out the size of the croc by enlarging the thumbnail photo. The school was able to get a good discount on the entrance fee which was helpful. We also recommend that you take your own food if you are going to be there at lunchtime as the food sold there is expensive. All in all a really good afternoon.
