A Warm Welcome To Our New Students

Marius joins us from the German part of Switzerland. In Switzerland, Marius worked in telecommunications and studied computer science. Before arriving, he was travelling around New Zealand and Fiji. At Lexis, he hopes to improve his English and afterwards will travel around Australia.

Pau and his girlfriend Elena join us from Barcelona, Spain. Pau is an environmental engineer and has many diverse hobbies including playing sports (particularly trekking, scuba and football), cooking, reading, growing plants, travelling and offroad driving. While at Lexis he hopes to improve his English, meet lots of people and learn from others.

Elena is a freelance interior designer and has many artistic skills including painting, dancing and photography. She also enjoys yoga and meditation for self-care. Elena wants to improve her English further so that she has more employment opportunities in Spain with international companies.

Gen joins us from Japan. Gen visited Byron Bay before the pandemic and liked the atmosphere and peaceful, laid-back lifestyle so he decided to return and study at Lexis. While in Byron Bay he wants to focus on improving his English, learn tips from locals about living a healthy lifestyle, interact with people from around the world and go surfing of course.

Yuka also joins us from Japan. Yuka lived a busy and high-achieving life in Japan as a successful real estate agent, but the lifestyle was too busy for her to maintain. She decided to escape to Byron Bay, to learn English and take some time to relax. After relaxing, Yuka would like to work in Australia and specifically with horses as she rode horses as a hobby in Japan.

Miki also joins us from Japan. Miki is very close with her family and holds them in the highest esteem. She works in fashion, is enthusiastic about sustainable fashion and idyllically wants to get a job with a fashion business focused on doing good for the planet. At Lexis, Miki hopes to improve her English and therefore her job prospects in Byron Bay.

Taiki also joins us from Japan. Taiki is completing our English and Surfing program which involves part-time General English with surfing lessons. While in Byron Bay, he hopes to improve his English speaking and listening skills, go surfing a lot and enjoy the wonderful nature Byron Bay offers.

Learn English in Byron Bay. Lexis English students study General English, IELTS, FCE, CAE, and English plus Surfing in a friendly and professional school right in the heart of Byron Bay and only 15 minutes from the beach.
