Afternoon Volleyball Fun in Byron Bay!

Last Thursday, our students enjoyed an unforgettable afternoon in Byron Bay, making the most of the hot weather with an exciting game of volleyball.

The students formed teams and took turns on the court, with each match bringing laughter, cheers, and plenty of memorable moments. Whether they were spiking, serving, or diving for the ball, the players gave it their all while maintaining the friendly and lighthearted spirit of the game.

What made this activity even more special was how it became an opportunity for students to practice their English skills. From discussing strategies to calling out plays and cheering for their teammates, communication in English was an essential part of the game. It was wonderful to see students confidently using the language in a natural and dynamic way, breaking down barriers and building connections.

As the afternoon progressed, the students grew more comfortable not just with the game but also with speaking English. By combining physical activity with language practice, this volleyball session proved to be both educational and entertaining.

We’re looking forward to more afternoons like this, where students can have fun, stay active, and continue to improve their English while making the most of beautiful Byron Bay.
