Today we said goodbye to Netta, who has decided to finish her studies early and return to Israel.
Netta has been at Lexis Byron Bay since December last year. When she started she already had excellent communication skills but needed to brush up on her grammar and also wanted to improve her writing. I’m delighted to say that she finished at Advanced level for all skills: Grammar, Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking and was consistently scoring 6.5 and 7 in IELTS practice tests.
Netta was a delightful student to teach because she always asked questions when she didn’t understand something or when she needed clarification and this allowed the other students to learn more too. She was also an active participant in all group discussions and games.
We will miss Netta a lot but wish her all the very best as she reunites with her family and friends in Israel.
