In October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month is when people from all walks of life join hands to show support for those affected by this devastating disease. This year, students from Lexis Noosa took a unique approach to support the cause by wearing pink and crafting DIY pamper packs. These thoughtful, handmade packages raise awareness about breast cancer and provide comfort and self-care to those in need.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is synonymous with the color pink, symbolizing hope, strength, and unity in the fight against breast cancer. The students and staff at Lexis recognized the significance of this color and decided to not only wear the colour pink to school on Friday but to incorporate it into their pamper packs for Friday afternoons activity also. They gathered materials like pink ribbons, pink tissue paper, and pink-themed self-care items, creating visually appealing and meaningful gifts that would serve as a constant reminder of breast cancer awareness.
