Today we are celebrating our 16 amazing graduates and course finishers at Lexis Manly.
Today we celebrated the hard work of our 16 graduates. Everyone gathered on the beach front to wish them farewell and enjoy a last day filled with fun and laughter.
We are proud of everyone’s amazing progress and are happy to hear about all the great memories our students have made during there time with Lexis Manly. It is never easy to see students leave but they all have bright futures ahead and we are grateful for the chance to meet everyone and support them reaching their individual goals.
Valentin, our soccer champion, is leaving us after 5 weeks. He won our Lexis Manly soccer competition with his team and got to show off his skills. He settled in and made friends so quickly, it was great to observe his progress over such a short amount of time. Valentin will be missed in his class and even in our activities, that he always enjoyed joining. We wish you all the best for your studies and hope you enjoy the remaining time in Sydney!
We are sad to see Kishin go after 3 month’s with Lexis Manly. Kishin has studied hard and is graduating from an intermediate class today. We are proud of your success! Kishin was placed with a lovely host during his stay and became good friends with the other students that lived with him, it was great to experience homestay and become such close friends with the people who surround you all day – even in school, Kishin was our social butterfly, he made new friends quickly and enjoyed the time to the fullest. Good luck for your job hunt, we hope you have a great year in Sydney!
Yamato was surrounded by all his new friends to wish him farewell. He was only with us for 8 weeks but has formed many friendships, that will miss him dearly. He has started his English language journey as a beginner, he couldn’t communicate or understand anyone on the first day, but due to his hard work, dedication and international friends he improved quickly. We are happy to see your progress and are convinced your new skills will come in handy for your upcoming travel plans!
Yu-Shi and Jo-Hsin are friends from Taiwan and have started this adventure together 5 weeks ago, at only 16 years old. They spend their time at the same homestay and enjoyed discovering a lot of places with them around Sydney. They surely have made the most of the time and made many great memories. With all the beaches, sights and areas they discovered what will be missed most is the yummy Gelato, according to Jo-Hsin. We are excited to hear that after her studies in Taiwan she is already planning to come back to Sydney. Yu-Shi has worked her way up to the IELTS class quickly, she is full of creative ideas and was amazing to have in class. We wish you all the best for your travels home!
Our time with Adam was short but sweet, he was with us for the last 3 weeks and got to enjoy the excursions with his classmates before leaving Sydney.
Adam’s smile around campus will be missed, he is always full of joy and excitement, which shows particularly in his fast talking that we all adore – thank you for studying with Lexis and being so brave at only 16 years old! All the best for your flight home to Czech Republic!
After only 2 weeks Nozomi‘s time at Lexis has already come to an end. She was a great student in our pre-intermediate class, determined to learn and improve.
It was great to have her with us and see her settle in, from being very shy and overwhelmed on the first to a bright and bubbly student who made new friends easily. We hope you have a safe trip home and visit us in Sydney again one day.
