Congratulations to our amazing graduates at Lexis Manly!
Today we celebrated the hard work and dedication of our graduates at Lexis Manly. Every Friday we have our graduation ceremony which is a special occasion in which we honour the students finishing their course and together we celebrate their amazing achievements. However, this Friday we did our graduation a little differently and held it at the wonderful Shelly Beach in collaboration with our End of Year BBQ.
Graduation day isn’t just about receiving a certificate, it’s about acknowledging the trials, triumphs, and memories that have shaped each student’s experience. We took a moment to listen to their stories, their hopes for the future, and the cherished moments they held dear during their time at Lexis Manly.
Our Intermediate students, Justine & Barbara from Switzerland, and Coralie from France, are all graduating with great memories of an amazing experience at our campus. Their Intermediate class became very close over the past weeks and they have all made some amazing friendships with one another. These students all escaped the cold winter in their home countries, to enjoy some lovely sunshine and fun in Manly. They all had a great time and now have some awesome travel plans lined up for the Aussie Summer! Congratulations on finishing your English studies and have an awesome time on your travels!
Soledad and her two sons Maxi (14) and Leo (12) are our lovely family from Chile, who have been studying together at our campus for the past 7 weeks. They truly made the most out of their experience and loved joining in on all our social activities and workshops. Their teacher Coni commented on their amazing, positive attitude and commendable dedication to learning English. They will now all go travel to Germany and study German together as a family for 2 months, then head home to Chile. We will miss having them at our campus and we wish them the best of luck for their next adventure!
We not only said goodbye to our graduating students but we also said goodbye to one of our amazing teachers, Andrew. Andrew has been working at our campus for over a year now and has been a real asset to our team. He loved to do social activities with his students including BBQ’s and social outings – all of his students always commented on how great of a teacher he is. We will miss having him here but we wish him all the best for his future plans and life up on the Central Coast. Thank you for everything!
