Our hard working FCE and CAE classes took their studies out of the classroom and enjoyed an iconic walk and Aussie pies.

All students study hard in their classes to improve their English – our FCE and CAE students already have a high English level and take on the next challenge: prepare for the big Cambridge exam. After successfully completing their mock exam last week, their teachers Ari and Steve decided they deserve a fun afternoon together, enjoying an iconic beach walk and famous pies. The time in Sydney is also about making memories beyond studying, embrace the beaches and lifestyle. What better way to do that than to enjoy an afternoon with their new friends.

They gathered for the popular 5km beach walk from Dee Why Lagoon to Long Reef Headland, enjoying the magnificent 360 degree views on a gorgeous summer day. After their walk it was time to discover a local icon: Upper Crust Pies in Collaroy. Nothing is more Australian than enjoying a meat pie by the beach, so our students were excited to try the famous pies and were not disappointed! The homemade pies are famous along the Northern Beaches and attract pie-lovers from all over Sydney. It is safe to say, this will not have been our students last pie during their time with Lexis Manly!
