Sunshine Coast – Celebrating Achievements – 14 March

Celebrating the Achievements of our Graduating Students

Goodbye and Goodluck!

As another Friday comes and goes, we celebrate the hard work, dedication, and growth of students who are completing their journey with Lexis Sunshine Coast. For many, this graduation represents not just the mastery of a new language, but the overcoming of challenges, the embracing of new cultures, and the opening of doors to a world of opportunities.

The students graduating this week have demonstrated remarkable perseverance, whether they started as beginners or were already proficient in English when they arrived. Each has put in countless hours of practice, from expanding their vocabulary to perfecting their grammar and pronunciation. Along the way, they’ve built the confidence to express themselves in a new language and connect with others on a global scale.

Firstly, we said goodbye to Sae from our Elementary class.

Celebrating Achievements

Sae has been a bright spot in the school for the 6 weeks she has been here. Sae is kind, helpful, and a genuinely beautiful person inside and out. We will always cherish our time with Sae and wish her all the best as she flies back to Japan to resume her day-to-day life.

Next, we have Shoko and Fuka from our Upper Intermediate class!

Shoko has had many achievements to celebrate while she’s been here at Lexis Sunshine Coast. Shoko started in our Elementary class and has now finished in the Upper Intermediate class. Shoko has put in lots of hard work and dedication into her studies and the results have spoken for themselves. Shoko is an incredibly funny student with a smile that can light up a room. We will dearly miss having Shoko around to make us all laugh and smile, but we wish her all of the best as she continues to study with Lexis in our VET business course.

We have sadly only had Fuka with us for 2 short weeks but in that time, she has made her way into our hearts. Fuka is incredibly smart and always works hard in class. She will be going back to Japan to resume her work, however we sincerely hope that she comes back to Australia sometime soon! We wish Fuka all the best in her future!

We are also sadly saying goodbye to Noelia from our IELTS class.

Noelia has been with us for over a year and in that time, we have gotten to see her English language skills grow exponentially. Noelia also started in Elementary and worked her way all the way up to Advanced before taking on our IELTS preparation course. Noelia is the epitome of dedication and perseverance, and she is a genuinely kind and caring soul. Noelia’s absence from classes will be felt by many but we know that she is heading on to do great things in the world.

Lastly, we said goodbye to Catalina and Jareth from our Cambridge Focus class!

Jareth, like Noelia, has been with us for a very long time and in that time has improved his English language skills by leaps and bounds. Jareth has been an absolute joy to have in class, always offering help to the other students when needed. Jareth is now going to head down to Brisbane to study at TAFE! We will definitely miss Jareth, but we wish him all the very best for his educational journey to come.

Catalina is also an extremely kind soul who has never failed to offer a smile to all of her classmates and teachers. Not only is Catalina incredibly intelligent, but she is also an astounding artist with a wonderful creative spirit. Catalina is now heading home to Colombia where she is going to being her studies to become a biologist. She does hope to continue travelling as she does this, with the potential of a semester abroad during her degree. We will miss Catalina so much and wish her all of the best with her future studies.

These graduates are more than just students of English; they are now empowered communicators with the skills to navigate the world, pursue new academic or professional goals, and build relationships with people from all walks of life. Their success is a reflection of their hard work and determination, and their future is bright as they continue to use their language skills to open doors to new possibilities.

As we celebrate their accomplishments, we encourage these graduates to continue embracing opportunities to learn and grow. The world is full of exciting challenges, and with the English language as a tool, there’s no limit to what they can achieve. Congratulations to all the graduates—today marks just the beginning of your journey!

Goodbye for now but never farewell!
